The M.E. team assisted a helical manufacturer with a deep foundation design for an oil pipeline company.  Helical piles were used to support buildings, platforms, cable tray supports, and pipeline supports.  For this project, we completed detailed lateral analysis using proprietary LPile software, wrote testing procedures, developed pre-drilling procedures for areas of very dense surface soils, structural design of custom size helical piles, and provided analysis for the compression, tension, and lateral testing of piles across six different sites throughout the state of Minnesota.
